Larkwold workshop

Distillery tour

The experience lasts roughly 1 hour a welcome Gin & Tonic or Vodka & Tonic, guided tour around the Wood Brothers distillery, and tastings of our spirits on the tour. Join us, the Wood Brothers, at our farm on the edge of the Cotswolds for a tour of our single estate distillery.

Kicking off the tour with a welcome drink in hand, we’ll dive into the world of craft distilling, walking you through our history and our unique approach to producing spirits from field to glass. Of course, there’ll be plenty of opportunities for tastings, and we’ll finish up the tour in the Wood Brothers' bar where you can sample our full range of gin, vodka, and liqueurs.

Fly Fishing

Fly fishing offers an immersive experience with nature. You can enjoy it at your own level and pace: from patiently stalking a chalk stream trout during the mayfly hatch to the thrill of standing waist-deep mid-river playing your first salmon.

Catering for beginners to experienced anglers, Blue Zulu Fly Fishing can introduce you to the joys of fly fishing or help improve and refine your existing technique and skills.

Based in the Cotswolds, we offer fly fishing casting lessons, guiding and instruction on the trout streams of Oxfordshire, Gloucestershire and Berkshire, salmon fishing on the Wye and Usk and bespoke hand-tied fly collections.

We cater for parties of all sizes, for as short or as long a duration you require. If you’re planning a leisurely day cycling in the Cotswolds, a cycling holiday or hen & stag parties look no further! We have a large collection of routes available that vary in distance and intensity. Ride the rolling hills and scenic river valleys of the picturesque Cotswold countryside directly from our shop!

Blenheim palace

Blenheim Palace is a world-class visitor attraction with a variety of cultural and sporting events regularly scheduled. It is over 300 years old and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. It is also home to the 12th Duke of Marlborough and his family, and was the birthplace of Sir Winston Churchill.

The palace itself is surrounded by over 90 acres of formal gardens, including the Water Terraces, Rose Garden and the Duke’s private Italian Garden. Children will enjoy the miniature train that runs back and forth between the Pleasure Gardens and the Palace, and adults and children alike will find hours of fun in the Marlborough Maze which is two miles in length and made-up of hundreds of yew trees.

Our newly extended Bamford Wellness Spa Cotswolds offers a holistic wellness space situated in the heart of Daylesford Organic Farm. The selection of carefully curated treatments, mind and movement classes, in addition to state of the art facilities are devoted to relaxing, restoring and nurturing your well-being in a gentle holistic way.

Our new wet area includes a herbal steam room, crystal sauna and a wellness pool, which are accessible to spa day guests only.
